About Course
The role of teaching assistant is unique and brings with it its own specific challenges. In this course, we look at the most influential areas of teaching and learning that teaching assistants can focus on, to ensure great outcomes for their learners. Those areas are: Questioning, Scaffolding, Modelling, Verbal Feedback and Eliciting Responses. For each of these, we examine a range of practical strategies and techniques teaching assistants can use to develop and enhance their practice, supporting every learner they work with along the way.
