About Course
A basic introduction to the role and responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant, for people who are new to the job, or who want to refresh their skills. We look at the need to co-operate and collaborate with the lead teacher, but also introduce the idea that the TA’s role is to do more than simply follow orders. Good TAs build on the lead teacher’s planning, and also provide feedback and make suggestions, as well as supplying a supportive shoulder.
