This course presents an approach to teaching Othello, which is often a prescribed text at KS5. It incorporates a background to the play, a method of introducing the plot, and detailed discussions of one key scene from each act, with discussion points for the teacher to work through with the class. There are also readings to help students see the play through a variety of critical lenses, and helpful hints about studying the play.
