This course introduces teachers to three moral philosophers and their main ideas. The moral issues raised are applied to a reading of Kazuo Ishiguro’s 2005 novel, Never Let Me Go, which is often a prescribed text at KS5 in the UK. A summary of the plot and style of the novel and a commentary on some key passages are presented for teachers to study and discuss with their students. There are also suggestions for further, critical readings around the text.
