About Course

In this course, we consider how TAs can be best utilised in a school. The UK standards for TAs are a valuable tool for the whole school team, not just helping TAs understand their role but also helping everyone else in the school hierarchy appreciate that role. TAs may be undervalued by their employers, and deployed in ways which do not necessarily ensure that educational outcomes are being raised. We look at what the standards are, as well as suggest how they should and should not be used.
