What Will You Learn?

• Effectively differentiate between ‘Coping with Bullying’ and ‘Dealing with Bullying’, teachers will be able to understand their role in managing bullying situations and apply appropriate strategies accordingly.

• Swiftly Identify and Address Red Alert Situations. Teachers will promptly recognise and respond to situations requiring immediate intervention, and they will effectively manage the aftermath with care and support.
• Respond to Amber Alert Situations. Teachers will be able to take quick and sensitive action in situations that require it and manage the consequences appropriately.
• Address Yellow Alert Situations. Teachers will identify and respond to ongoing bullying situations with care, ensuring support and intervention are provided.
• Evaluate and Navigate Grey Alert Scenarios. Teachers will become adept at assessing situations where bullying is not immediately evident and responding appropriately.
• Approach interventions with a focus on supporting the emotional well-being of the victim.
• Apply the acquired knowledge and skills to address bullying in settings involving both children and adults.
