About Course

This introductory course presents an approach to integrating STEM in a school curriculum where Maths and Science are taught, but not in an overtly compatible way. There are suggestions about the important elements to consider when introducing STEM, how to plan effective STEM lessons, and how to evaluate the outcomes of STEM teaching. A number of links to resources and ideas on the internet are provided and there are some optional readings for people who wish to take their understanding of STEM further. The course is a precursor to a second course which provides ideas and advice for teaching some examples of STEM projects.
