Introduction to the English Legal System – Part 1
About Course
The English Legal system is one of a kind: where civil law jurisdictions have tried to organize law into rationally ordered codes, English law has resisted this trend and has remained wedded to the perhaps less logical system of common law. This course will take you through the characteristics of English law and explain how it is different from civil law. It will explain the sources of UK law, including case law.
